The Maiden

Inspired by the 'Guide' archetype in many classic fairytales, the Maiden explores constant kindness in the vague hope that someone will be kind to you back. The Maiden draws inspiration from fairytales such as 'The Black Bull of Norway', 'Kate Crackernuts' and 'Gold-Tree and Silver-Tree'. The Maiden constantly hopes for a happy ending, but cannot get one without help that no one seems willing to offer...
